Enjoy the New Pumpkin Spice Frappé!

To our delight, October signals the arrival of all things pumpkin, and that is why we are so excited to share with you our newest frappé flavor, pumpkin spice! This flavor—also our October Flavor of the Month—is a favorite fall beverage. The pumpkin spice frappé is also special for another reason: Unlike many of our other wine frappé mixes, this spice blend is made to be mixed exclusively with rum, not wine.

Why does everyone love pumpkin spice?

The traditional blend of pumpkin spices, a mix of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and all spice, is perfect when paired with sweet vegetables or fruits, including butternut squash, sweet potatoes, and, yes, pumpkin! Our pumpkin spice frappé mix is a delicate blend of sweet and spicy.

How do you best enjoy a pumpkin spice frappé?

First, you blend the pumpkin spice frappé mix with your favorite variety of rum. Spiced rum is used in many fall alcoholic beverages, and we find that blending rum with our pumpkin spice frappé mix is ideal. And, as with all of our frappés, there are options for those desiring a non-alcoholic version . Once you have blended the frappé, you have two options:

  • Serve warm. Much like our mulling spice and granny’s apple pie frappés, our pumpkin spice frappé is delicious served warm. Pour into oversized mugs for a hot, comforting treat on a cold evening. You may choose to garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
  • Serve cold. Our pumpkin spice frappé is just as delicious served cold as it is served warm! Blend like our traditional wine frappés with ice for a frothy, pumpkin spice slushy. Consider topping with a dollop of whipped cream to make it even more decadent!

We hope you and your friends enjoy the pumpkin spice frappé all autumn long. Remember that pumpkin spice is our October 2015 Flavor of the Month! From now through October 31, 2015, you can get this flavor free on any purchase of $50 or more. Contact us with any questions or comments.
